Reiki
Healing (with Jill or Kelly)
A Japanese hands-on healing art that works the Chakra energy system. The Chakras are zones of energy related to both physical health in the body as well as emotional and spiritual balance. Reiki invites both the giver and receiver to be silent and still, receiving the energy that is available to us all for healing, relaxation and rejuvenation. Reiki training involves attunements from a Master practitioner and the practice of placing the hands on the Chakras located on the body, as well as holding painful or weakened areas. Reiki is often practiced in hospitals or hospice, and is safe and effective for the lay practitioner to do on themselves or family members. We integrate Reiki into the Shiatsu or guided energy session to promote a deeper level of healing.

I offer holistic personal training tailored to your needs and conditions. Customized Personal Training is a low equipment workout that can be done at home or while traveling. I train using exercise balls, tubing, bands, and body weight that can be adapted to the home, and can include stretching and yoga poses, balance and coordination challenges, and energy building mind/body activities. The training is designed to improve posture and balance in the body as well as promote a sense of wellbeing and increased energy.

I offer Post-Rehab exercise training to get over recent injuries or chronic complaints. This training is tailored to address your problems and fills the gap between physical therapy and getting back to a normal workout regime.
I offer Senior Fitness training to promote and build strength, muscle mass, bone density, balance and coordination. According to the NIHS, on average we lose 7 pounds of muscle mass per decade starting in our thirties and replace it with 15 pounds of fat. By age eighty we can have lost up to half of our physical capacity. The good news is we can respond to strength training at any age. I teach safe, simple workouts tailored to the needs of the older exerciser.
I can get you started on a simple workout to do on your own or workout with you every time until you get a routine. Discounts available for multiple sessions. I also combine exercise training with Asian Bodywork Therapy to promote the best possible recovery.
Client Response
I started receiving Shiatsu from Jill Alleyne several years ago after exploring a number of body therapy techniques to improve a slight Scoliosis in my upper spine and fifty years of recurrent trauma to my neck.
Since that first session with Jill, my treatment continues to evolve into an expanding array of structured rehab techniques which combine proper breathing, the use of fun equipment (like a balance ball and colored exercise tubes with handles), and Jill's encyclopedic knowledge of the human body. Her breadth of information, practical applications, devotion to precision, and sensitivity, have helped me maintain the integrity of my spine and inspired me to develop my own daily rehab practice.
I continue to grow into my fifties with increased strength, flexibility, stamina and vitality, the foundational ingredients for a long life.
Thank you Jill!

Qi Gong and Tai Chi (with Jill)
Both, based on TCM, are systems of movement and breathwork to build and move energy. It can be a personal practice or shared with others through healing techniques.
I have practiced internal energy practices since 1984 and can get you started with a mini-Tai chi set called Five Element Tai Chi or a simple Qi Gong practice.
Guided Energy Work
(with Jill)
Combines the best of hands-on energy healing from Shiatsu, Reiki and Qi Gong. During the session you are completely clothed and resting comfortably on a massage table. You relax and drift away as your body's energy, through the 12 Meridians and 7 Chakras, is brought into balance through gentle movements, rocking, pressing, kneading and the holding of points. The session can focus on musculoskeletal complaints or rejuvenation of energy. Most people notice warmth and tingling from my hands and a wonderful feeling of release and relaxation. Many people use this time to work on their breathing and learning to let go in their bodies or we may use an intuitive process where we follow where the body leads us while processing the experience verbally as thought, emotions, images and colors present to us.
Client Response
Jill has an amazing ability to focus in on the specific energy blockages I hold in my body. It's as if she's got some sort of map that allows her to go right to the areas needing the most attention. I always leave our sessions together feeling refreshed and relaxed, with my energy flowing.
I have been grateful to benefit from Jill's exceptional abilities to offer her multiple gifts to enhance my
well-being through the combination of shiatsu, reiki, and her ability to connect with my guides have assisted me far beyond the massage session itself, time and time again.

Shiatsu Sole Therapy (with Kelly)
A delightful blend of foot Reflexology, Shiatsu and Aromatherapy. The treatment focuses primarily on feet, but also includes work on the hands, head, neck and shoulders. After your feet have soaked in a relaxing footbath, you will lie, fully clothed, on a specially designed Shiatsu table, which is low to the ground, wide and with extra cushioning. Support cushions, blankets, hot packs and eye pillows are available to further deepen your relaxation experience. Organic lotion and essential oils are applied to your feet. The treatment will last one hour. One and a half hour sessions are also available.

Shiatsu Anma (with Jill or Kelly)
Clothes-on Japanese style of Asian Bodywork Therapy based on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Western Anatomy and Physiology. Shiatsu means finger pressure and Anma means kneading and pulling. Techniques include pressing with palms, fingers and elbows, kneading, tapping, stretching, and range of motion exercises. The goal is to promote the flow of Chi or energy in the body, relax the muscles, and restore a feeling of wellbeing. Shiatsu works the same energetic system as Acupuncture without the needles. Meridians are lines of energy that run throughout the body and relate to overall health and function, as well as one's spiritual and emotional balance. TCM holds that mind and body are one, so all aspects must come into balance together.

Client Response
Shiatsu massage with Jill Alleyne has been part of my weekly routine for the past 7 years, ever since I suffered a fluke stroke at age 43. The stroke left me with numbness and nerve pain on my left side. I fully believe that my regular shiatsu routine is the reason I have gotten almost all normal feeling back.
I get a massage from Jill every Monday after work and it keeps my back from aching and my stress from getting out of control. I also have noticed that I hardly ever get sick. I have sent friends to see Jill for back pain and migraine headaches. She is always helpful! I am a big believer in shiatsu massage and plan on continuing my once a week routine.
